Once admitted, participants will begin their education with a general introduction to dental assisting, covering administrative and clinical topics. They will learn about general dentistry but will also acquire the skills necessary to work in specialized environments, such as periodontics, prosthodontics, and orthodontics.

One key benefit of this program is that it includes vouchers for certification exams through the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB), specifically the Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) and Infection Control Exam (ICE).
