This program includes six certificates of achievement in Coordinate Metrology, CNC programming, CNC operation, Industrial Technology, Automated manufacturing, and Machining.

Those who wish to go for something other than the six certificates of achievement may choose instead to apply for the associate of arts degree in Machine Tool Technology. One of the highlights of enrolling in this program is that students get to work with CNC machines of all types.

The department boasts seventeen full-size machines, including 4-axis, 5-axis, and more. By the time they’re done, students can calculate machine speeds and feeds, create tool paths, and set up and cut parts, among other things.

Students attend classes in metals technology, conventional mill and lathe, CNC Mill and lathe, computer-aided design, blueprint reading, technical mathematics, and more.

The program is available for people just graduating high school, those who have been working in machinery and want to acquire more excellent skills, those who want to open their own business, and those who have a project they want to build.

Along with learning how to operate these machines, the program teaches safety procedures such as inspection and optimizing maintenance. As one would expect, the program is divided into classroom sections, computer laboratory sessions, and hands-on shop experience.​​​​​
