Travel Agent Schools in Honolulu

Candidates will be able to develop transferable skills such as communication, interpersonal, and planning skills while also learning about the business side of the profession.

Candidates may also go for any Certificate of Competence programs containing 9 to 16 credits.

The first level introduces the Hawaiian Islands and various tourist destinations and activities. It is further divided into certification one and certification to training modules. After completing the first level, the candidate will receive the Hawaii destination specialist certificate and then be able to move on to the next levels.

The level 2 arrangement allows candidates to choose a specific Island to specialize in. It includes courses on Oahu, Maui Nui, Kauai, and the Island of Hawaii.

Those who have completed the two levels of training will receive the Huawei destination expert certificate.

As one would expect from a training program offered by a host agency, the curriculum includes many hands-on elements. Students can work under established travel agents to pick up real-world skills.

At the initial onboarding stage, candidates receive 40 hours of training using several resources. These include live training, online materials seminars, recorded videos, and workshops.

Training continues once candidates join the agency.

They also provide continuing and advanced education, including certification opportunities, with some of the top professional organizations in the field.

They also offer a Hawaii destination specialist course for $89.

The program is highly convenient and can be completed in a few months. It includes an introduction to the entire region, with an option to focus on specific islands.

Those who complete their training will receive the Certified Hawaii Travel Specialist credential.
