One of the major highlights of studying here is the multimodal approach. Students will learn through online coursework and clinical practice.

The clinical practice section contains 400 hours of learning. Those who complete all of these arrangements will be able to graduate with a certificate of completion and qualify for the CRCST credential from the HSPA.

To be admitted here, applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old. They must also complete a criminal background check and provide proof of vaccination against several diseases, including hepatitis B, tuberculosis, diphtheria, and measles.

During this time, they learn sterilization methods, decontamination processes, instrument identification, instrument processing, assembly, and storage, as well as the relevant regulations governing the profession. For professional opportunities, participants receive preparation for the HSPA credentialing exam.

One of the major areas of emphasis here is professional development. Students also gain an understanding of equipment handling, inventory management, and infection-control standards.

Participants don't have to worry about the national certification exam fee, as it is already included in the tuition. A working laptop and an internet connection are required to complete the course.

As for admission requirements, candidates only need a high school diploma or GED at the point of certification.
