Students can start learning at any time under the open enrollment policy and complete the coursework whenever they are ready, thanks to self-guided learning.

Participants receive excellent preparation for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board examination and develop workforce readiness skills.

They will receive training for the national pharmacy technician certification examination and for the profession's technical duties. The curriculum is robust and was developed by industry experts.

It covers a range of important topics, including applicable laws and nomenclature, basic IV admixture, computerized systems, insurance considerations, and more. Students will participate in competency reviews and may complete an externship.

It contains 130 clock hours of instruction, divided into 90 clock hours of classroom lectures and 40 clock hours of externship. Those who successfully complete this program will be ready to secure employment immediately.

They will develop a robust understanding of pharmacy calculations, rules and regulations, pharmacology, medication safety, and prescription processing. Students are prepared for both the NHA and the PTCB credentialing exams.

The tuition fees for the pharmacy technician programs range from $365 for the most affordable online option to $790 for the traditional in-person class. Other fees are in addition to the tuition fee.

Those who secure admission will master the art of pharmaceutical compounding and understand the knowledge required to keep a pharmacy running smoothly. The program also includes a hands-on experience element through work-based learning opportunities.

The program offers two options: For Adults, the cost is $1,920, and the program can be finished in nine months, with both morning and afternoon classes available. For High School Students, the program is tuition-free and can be completed within one school year.

Accepted applicants will also appreciate the convenience offered by the hybrid learning approach. This means they can combine in-person classes with optional online hours on Zoom.

For the practical part of the program, candidates must report on site.

The tuition for in-state residents is $285 per program, plus fees.
