For the first part of the program, candidates study technical topics to prepare for jobs and examinations. Only after this is complete will they move on to the on-the-job portion of the program for hands-on training.

The final 20 credits can be completed through 8 weeks of online training. The curriculum covers medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacological communication for health care professionals, and pharmacy calculations, among other areas.
