The program is quite flexible, allowing accepted applicants to earn a degree or certificate, depending on their schedules and the amount of time they wish to spend in training. Candidates may enter the workforce upon graduation or continue their studies at four-year universities. Students can complete these materials at their own pace. Graduates have historically enjoyed a high first-time pass rate in the NASM certification examination. The program syllabus explores the personal training profession, digestive and cardiorespiratory systems, exercise metabolism, posture and movement, performance assessment, quickness training concepts, and more.
