As a career-readiness program, those who complete their training may proceed to secure employment immediately. Students may also transfer to a four-year institution, even though that is not the program's main purpose.

Accepted applicants can look forward to 1,950 clock hours of training spread through 52 credits of course materials. They will learn crucial topics such as fundamentals, brick fundamentals, residential and commercial masonry, stone masonry, and mathematical applications.

It includes various course materials covering many skills, including bricklaying, blocklaying, material identification, safety, and more. As a hands-on program, candidates can work with actual tools and materials, practicing everything they will be taught in the classroom in the real world.
