CNC Machinist Schools in Sioux Falls

The course contains 195 hours of training and is estimated to be completed in 12 months. Students will receive an intensive overview of CNC machining skills, from inspection and safety to quality and grinding. Other topics include production floor safety, CNC controls, metallurgy, inspection methods, and work-holding principles.

Interested individuals must have a working internet connection, a personal computer, and email capabilities. These are the only requirements for admission to the program.

As expected, capable teachers help candidates develop relevant skills through classroom theory, hands-on machining, practical applications, and laboratory work.

Additionally, the program leads to an internship, where students can practice what they have been taught in the real world and, hopefully, secure entry-level positions.

WDT offers a two-year associate of applied science degree program in Drafting and machining technology and the precision Machining Technology program.

This program teaches the entire process of designing, drawing, and creating mechanical parts. It also provides in-depth insight into varying areas of drafting, making candidates versatile enough to secure employment in various industries.

Accepted applicants will develop proficiency in technical areas, from drafting and quality assurance to design and inspection methods. They will also be able to identify and verify marital quality while developing a safety-conscious mindset.

Additionally, candidates with a busy schedule will also have the opportunity to enroll in afternoon classes in the same program. They will learn classroom topics and be able to practice them in the laboratory.

The school also offers a certificate program for CNC operators.
