Students can learn self-guided and join the program at any time, thanks to the open-enrollment policy. Participants must complete 140 course hours of instruction.

Candidates can develop strong proficiency in software applications and pursue certification in specific bookkeeping tools. Among the course objectives are to help candidates understand the profession's code of ethics, how to record a book, tax depreciation, and inventory valuation, among other areas.

The course is designed for experienced bookkeepers seeking to consolidate their practical skills.

Accepted applicants will be eligible for bookkeeping and QuickBooks certifications. They will also develop transferable skills and technical expertise for rapid career advancement.

There are no prerequisites to enter this program.

These include an Online Certified Bookkeeper Prep Course with 99 hours of instruction and a self-study Certified Bookkeeper Prep Course with ebooks and softcover workbooks. Students who complete these courses will be eligible to sit for the AIPB Certified Bookkeeper credentialing exam immediately.
