Although anyone can enter without significant admission requirements, participants are still expected to have a personal computer and a working internet connection. They will develop the key attributes needed to secure employment while building transferable skills such as analysis and critical thinking.

The program also covers the eligibility requirements for the AIPB’s certification examination, as well as the institution's code of ethics and maintenance requirements.

Upon program completion, graduates will be eligible to sit for the AIPB credential exams and the MOS Excel Expert certification exam. Certification exam fees are included in the tuition, and students will receive a free voucher upon completion.

Areas of focus include accrual accounting concepts, bank account reconciliations, formulas and functions, and correcting accounting errors.

Candidates complete 26 credit hours of industry-standard courses, including payroll accounting, accounting principles, spreadsheet applications for accounting, and computerized accounting for small businesses. The program also includes an Introduction to Business Course designed to help students build the proficiency to run their own bookkeeping outfits.

The curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning with modern tools. Graduates can choose to secure employment immediately or continue learning via more advanced pathways, such as the Accounting Professional associate degree track and the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an Accounting Minor track, among others.

The curriculum covers the essentials of bookkeeping, payroll, taxes, computerized accounting systems, and general business processes. It is also very flexible, with multiple pathways and academic tracks.

For instance, students can pursue a 30-credit-hour certificate for a quicker start, or pursue the full Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree with an accounting emphasis.
