Graduates can either secure employment immediately or apply their credits toward the institution's Applied Accounting Associate Degree program.

Graduates earn an associate of applied science degree and can be confident in their job search. They will learn the essentials of accounting, including transaction analysis, financial statement preparation, cash flow analysis, and internal control maintenance.

Graduates may secure employment in payroll accounting, corporate accounting, cost accounting, management accounting, microcomputer accounting, and more.

They will also be able to participate in a 47-minute workshop covering roles and responsibilities, legal structure, accounting methods, double-entry and single-entry accounting, asset evaluation, and other key topics.

It has a 12-month estimated completion time, but those who can move through the coursework quickly and complete their education whenever they feel like. The program covers important topics, including adjusting entries, pretest and payroll, depreciation and inventory management, and correcting accounting errors.

Participants also prepare for the AIPB bookkeeper certification examination, for which they will receive a voucher.
