Applicants who are accepted here will have the opportunity to earn either an Associate of Applied Science in Aviation Maintenance or a Certificate in Aviation Maintenance.

Along with the high first-time pass rates in the certification examinations, graduates of these programs are also known to have a very high job placement rate. One reason for this is the strong connections not only between alumni but also in partnerships with relevant companies and organizations in the region.

Students can expect to learn topics ranging from hydraulics, pneumatics, avionics, composite materials, safety principles, and regulations to engine repair and diagnostics.

Thanks to this, participants will begin working with several types of aircraft, including jets, helicopters, and single-engine planes, as early as possible. The school is also home to a wonderful state-of-the-art laboratory and a fully functioning airport.

Candidates can choose to pursue a certificate in either airframe or powerplant, or an associate degree that combines both ratings. Regardless of their choice, graduates should have everything they need to pass the certification examinations and secure employment.

With industry-relevant instruction and access to specialized equipment, students develop the skills required to maintain, repair, and inspect aircraft in accordance with federal aviation standards.

Students gain hands-on experience working with fixed-wing and rotor-wing aircraft, as well as reciprocating and turbine engines. The curriculum covers general aviation maintenance topics, including airframe and powerplant systems, troubleshooting techniques, and regulatory compliance.

Graduates of the program are eligible to sit for the FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification exams, which are essential for employment in the aviation maintenance industry.
